The number of injectable fillers for soft-tissue augmentation has increased dramatically in the last few years.
In my practice, I have found with using a combination of fillers in multiple layers such as Restylane, Radiesse, Juvederm and Prevelle Silk are the most reliable and most cost-effective. I have found that Radiesse works the best for the deepest dermal layer. While Restylane and Juvederm work great for mid level layers. The superficial top layers are best treated with Prevelle Silk, creating the effective Tri-Level method.
Often patients who are not quite ready for a facelift or browlift can get instant improvement with these substances.

1st Level Radiesse for the Deep Layer
Radiesse is long lasting but more expensive. It is best for the naso-labial folds and the creases in the brow that do not go away with Botox. It is thicker and consists of micro particles of calcium so it is not
good immediately below the skin in the lips and lower eyelids. Since it lasts at least 12 months, it is more cost effective for deep fold augmentation. A combination of these two fillers can create amazing results and slow down the aging process in the face.

2nd Level Restylane Juvederm for the Mid Layer
Restylane was the first cosmetic dermal filler made from hyaluronic acid that has been modified slightly to last longer than the body’s hyaluronic acid. In the human body natural hylauronic acid provides volume and fullness to the skin. Restylane contain no animal proteins.

Juvederm While other hyaluronic acid fillers on the market have more granular consistency, Juvederm injectable gel is the first smooth consistency hyaluronic acid gel. This is due to an innovative manufacturing process call Hylacross technology. Hylacross gives Juvederm its unique smooth-gel properties as well as optimal gel structure that holds up over time. 3rd Level Prevelle for the Top Layer
Prevelle Silk consists of purified hyaluronic acid, which is a natural substance already found in your body. It also contains lidocaine, a common local anesthesia added to Prevelle Silk to increase your comfort during the facial filler procedure. Prevelle Silk is injected into the facial skin for correction of moderate wrinkles and folds, restoring volume and fullness to the skin. Prevelle Silk last up to 3 months.
