Botox
Botox® is an injectable treatment used to reduce or eliminate fine facial lines or wrinkles. Containing botulinum toxin type A, Botox® works by temporarily blocking the nerve signals to the targeted muscles, hindering contractions that cause unwanted facial lines.
Botox can be used to treat many different areas, including:
- Forehead creases
- Wrinkles around the eyes (crow’s feet)
- Frown lines (glabellar lines or 11 lines)
- Corners of the mouth
- Dimples in the chin
